Recovery disk for L505D-LS5007

I am trying to figure out how to backup the current hard drive for my Toshiba laptop model L505D-LS5007. The hard drive is full and I need to install a new one but have never done it before

Best way is to buy a USB enclosure for the old drive, and then buy the new drive. You can download Windows via this link: http/www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Make a bootable USB drive or DVD from the link, install Windows & all updates, then plug in the drive and transfer the info. You can then use the external drive for backup or other purpose....
