Hi guys,

I try to do a recording for musics and Youtube Video. Currently I'm using Microphone Rode NT1Kit + Focuserite Scarlette 2i2 (No phantom power, I boosted the level from my computer).
I realised that the noise are so high, try to set the Gain and Level but its still there.

My house is in the middle of plantation, so it's either a cricket everywhere on the night and bird chipping on the morning (It's nice though, but not for my recording)

Do I have to invest on a acoustic setting in my room (foam and rockwool, etc) or anything suggestion for my microphone to reduce noise (using Phantom Power, DAC or something)?
I rather do sound proofing room as last resort for some reason. But if thats the case. I'll take any suggestion.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Solution
Start with heavy draperies for the windows. Most noise enters through the openings in the house. If the draperies help, then think about higher quality windows like triple pane glass.
