Refurb Acer 300 vs new dell 7000

I'm looking to buy one of these laptops tomorrow and I can't decide between them. The reason I can't decide is because one is new and one is refurbished but it has a few better parts. Now I've seen alot of mixed reviews on refurb gaming laptops so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it or not. It is refurbished by the company.

Both have the same gpu gtx 1060 6gb and come with a 256gb ssd but the refurbished also has 8 more gigs of ram for a total of 16 and the i7-7700hq which is why I cant decide because that would make a differnce in gaming and how long it could last overall right?

If anyone could give some input on this I'd really appreciate it. As I said I plan to order one of them tomorrow. I just don't know if it's worth buying the refurb for the better hardware or just get the new one and upgrade it later. But I think the i7 would make a big difference in performance and lasting longer, though with it being a refurb how long could it really last for?

I'm honestly stuck I've been looking for a couple months and it's been hard to make a decision. I've narrowed it down to what I feel is a good performance vs price I just want to know what someone else thinks of these 2 which would you pick and why?
