how can i format & reinstall my acer aspire 1810TZ

Hello iradj25;

Did you change out the hard disk drive?
If not you can re-install to 'factory fresh' from the hidden partition on your hard drive.

Go into your BIOS settings using the F2 key at power on.
Find the option to enable D2D (Disc to Disc) Recovery and set it on, if not already on.
You should also see the key combo to use at power on to start the Recovery. Probably Alt+F12.

Reboot computer & use the correct function key combo to access D2D recovery.
