i have a asus win7 product sticker on computer.i upgrade to win 10 now the win 7 product kek is noy working after a hdd change. any ideas how to reinstate the asus win7 product key

You have to reinstall 10 , Windows 7 license is no longer valid after you upgraded, use the media too creation tool.

Chances are the key ran out of tries. I think Microsoft gives 3, so once gone, you need to call up Microsoft and tell them whats going on and they will refill it back for you or they might give a new product key or something.

depends on what the product key is for.
