1. What is your budget?

~$3000

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

I've always preferred 15.6" but a 17.3" might be better because of the larger screen, but I will be taking this everywhere.

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Since I will be looking at the screen for long periods of time, if like something pretty good.

Needs to be portable, will be doing service calls with it.

Everywhere I go will have access to an outlet

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

I may play a few games, minecraft, ark, maybe some battlefield, etc... Preferably in High.

Autocad electrical, solidworks/3D modeling and rendering, different plc software, maybe some slight photo/video editing

SSD Is a must, maybe a couple of TB's

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

N/A

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

As long as possible.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

Dvd rom would probably be plenty.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

N/A

13. What country do you live in?

U.S.

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

My company allowed me to suggest the laptop that I need to do my job, I'm out of the loop on the newest stuff so I'm turning to you all! I need it to be reliable, fast, powerful.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

We have a few of these in circulation at my work, and they are awesome laptops. Sleek and aesthetically pleasing design, gorgeous 4k display, touch screen, 1tb SSD, i7, GTX 1050, and 16 gigs of ram. If you could talk your company into it, I'd recommend getting the pro support/extended accidental damage warranty for it too, dealing with Dell's pro support is a pretty pain free process in comparison to other companies, and it covers stupid mistakes like water damage and fall damage.
