Reminder or Pop Up Task Helper Utility?

Okay, I use Google Chrome as my browser, and I use Windows 7 Home Basic for my OS. I am trying to find any FREE (has to be) software, app, addon, plugin, for mainly my desktop, but if it only works in google chrome that will be fine, that will remind me, and help me keep tasks handy. Like...for instance, if I set a daily reminder to remind me an hour beforehand that I have to walk the dog, or give the dogs medicine, or check something, or do something for that matter. Have it repeat hourly, daily, weekly, etc. Reminders for bdays, important dates, anniversaries. Also to help me plan and task homework and study time. I have a planner but I don't ever seem to use it, and I'm always at my computer for work or school. Thanks.

How about something simple like stickies?

The stickies I linked to above can do this.

Stickies can be hidden for a certain period, until a specified date and time, or to wake every day, week or month, to act as reminders.

Ah, so I can have them pop up daily at a specified time, or throughout the day at intervals? How do I do that

I don't know. I haven't used the program in years. You will need to read the instruction manual.
