Has there been a Yamaha receiver with the ability to select/deselect the A and B speaker sets from the remote control? If so, which one(s)?
[Don't want zones as I need the subwoofer active when either A or B are on.)
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Not really interested debating on the fine points.... only that if you say, if I have to go to option#2, I rather not to have the feature at all, well, that's your decision.

Thanks for the thought. Seeking solution for a friend with serious dexterity issues. Juggling more remotes is not a good option. Also a switch would reduce audio quality.

Anyone else?

> What do you think is inside a receiver that does A/B?
Pretty much everything that's inside a receiver that doesn't have A/B.

Are you suggesting that an additional switch would have no effect on audio quality?
