Remove TV sound option

Hi i have my laptop connected to my TV with HDMI but have separate speakers. I want to know if there is a way to completely remove the ability to change back to the tv in playback devices I already know how to change the default device and how to disable devices then hide them but I want to essentially delete the tv completely from playback devices so it cannot ever be used, only for sound though I still want the image. Was wondering if anyone knows of a third party app that can do that.
Context: This is try to stop someone who who is changing the playback device to the tv when there are speakers plugged in who already knows how to enable disabled devices

I doubt it can be "deleted" - and you already know how to "Disable".

Connecting via HDMI, the signal is, essentially, already being sent. Just not used. I don't believe there's any way to stop the audio signal being sent via HDMI .

disable, then uncheck show disabled devices and you won't see it.

If you asked them to stop changing the setting, lock your laptop with a password so they can't use it anymore at all.

It's a shared laptop and their account but the setting changes for everyone.
And I've tried asking but there extremely stubborn
