replacing a defect graphics card in laptop

It's a mxm2 type slot Nvidia geforce8400g.

what can I replace it with? I would like to upgrade - not too expensive
and where can i buy?

Sorry but you can't really change the GPU on this labtop... the only thing to fix it would be to buy the same as you have on ebay.

If you truly have an mxm2 slot, your best bet is ebay. You will probably have to
stay with the same mode due to power * cooling requirements.

I have a mxm2 slot and have already removed the the nvidia card. looking around on the internet i found this site
www.mxm-upgrade.com/7520G.html but the site is closed as far as selling/repair is concerned.
I guess i'll try ebay then. thanks
