Replacing Battery with a different laptop battery

I would like to know if Toshiba C655 laptop battery can work well with Hp Compaq CQ61 laptop? I assume it probably won't work...

Best not to mix and match batteries.

Though if you're really desperate than as long as it fits into the slot and the voltages and amps are the same it should still work.

Hi, they don't have the same pinout, don't try to fit the battery, bad idea.
