Reset factory and still with problems

Hi, my set top boxes has a problem, I open an app and two seconds later, the system send me back to the desktop, I tried many things, finally Y reset the system to factory. Reboot and then the problem still, the apps keeps closing, What can I do?

Call the set top box vendor and go "wu's up?"

Seriously, to your next question, this is not normal. Maybe a firmware update? That's all I can think of.
