Resetting acer laptop to factory settings wothout a disc

|I need to restore my acer laptop to factory settings but have misplaced the disc, can I do this without the disc?

Check to see if your model has a restore partition on it, check the documentation. If it does not, you need either the restore disks or a purchased version of Windows.

@hang dont beliave he needs to buy a win. OS think even if warranty is out ACER will sent u restore disks. but dont know witch model u have many newr acer have a hidden restore partition usually hit F10 to do recovery.
