Resoldered the DC jack problem

I did the same solution suggested above(soldered the two red wire to the centre pin and the the other two black cables to the other) and my laptop can be turned on now but the problem is the battery is not charging. If the power is off or if i pull the charger off fro the jack my laptop shut down completely..m Please help]

You need to provide some more details about your system, brand and model. Could be bad battery, or the wiring is wrong for your model or motherboard connection to battery is bad, quite a few reasons why battery is not charging.

Saying "same solution" does not really mean anything without referencing a specific post with a link.
