I assume that you're using the Acer eRecovery Management tool. Did you run your anti-virus program prior to recovery?
What operating system are you running? It might eventually be easier to copy your important files manually to a USB stick, and then perform an full factory restore. The OS may be suffering from some software malfunction (this can easily happen during large update runs) that prevents it from completing the OS restore.
Once restore is successful you should visit the Acer homepage and download the latest drivers.
