The pictures were on my main phone storage which I ad accidentally it?

Install PhotoRec on your PC, then connect your phone to your PC, run PhotoRec and select your phone's internal memory and it will recover anything deleted on it, just make sure you don't write much on it because it might overwrite the desired files. If you want a more detailed tutorial you can find it on the website of the people who made PhotoRec, CGSecurity.
