Roku won't fit

I just bought the Roku Streaming Stick. It is too large to fit in the TV. I had Amazon Stick and it fit with no problem, but the cord plug was on the side. On the Roku it is on the bottom and there is not room for it. So I cannot figure out a way to make it work.

Is there some sort of adapter I can buy so that the stick can be used? I am in an Executive Suites situation, so cannot change TVs.

Therre are many a HDMI male to female extender cables.

Amazon puts the hole on the side, so the length of the space is not an issue. But thanks for the tip. I wrote them and will probably also go to Best Buy for another extender (because I want to use it NOW. LOL)
