I have a customer that has a RTV-5508 that they purchased in August of 2004.
They have used it very little and want to sell it. Any ideas what this would
be worth? They are located in Avon Ohio if that makes a difference.

It depends if it has a lifetime activation ($299) or monthly subscription
($12.95 per month). About $120+ for the unit, then add $299 if it has
lifetime activation.

A 50XX might command that much, but a 55XX is only worth a fraction of
that. You can buy new 55XX for 40% off now with the coupon AND get a rebate.

5504 with lifetime will go for around $300 with $20 shipping.
5040 with lifetime will go for around $400 or more with $20 shipping.

That's not on eBay, that's from Replaytv direct.
eBay is higher.
