Woot been waiting for this. There are apps that do this already but only work on wifi... wonder if this will support 3g skype calls.

Anything to make the cell phone companies realize that they charge too much for long distance cell calls, i mean we all wanna make money, but gouging doesn't have to happen.

Hopefully its straight skype membercalling, using only local mins.

Fring does this now and yes, it will work on the Touch. No, you don't have a mic, but you can get a very small Bluetooth adapter to use a Bluetooth headset. You can also wait until the release of 3.0 and your internal Bluetooth will be enabled for use. At that point no adapter is needed and you can just connect your headset right to the Touch.
