Hi, i'm in a trouble about my recent purchase.
I got €600 coupon for a store in my city and bought for €500 a lenovo ideapad 330s with ryzen 5 2500u Vega 8, 8gb ram, SSD 256 and full HD ips display.
I use mostly for surfing and light games, but saw lower game performance and noticed the igpu very limited, it boost to 600-700mhz at begin for a couple seconds and stay stable from 380 to 420mhz...instead 1000stock /1100boost declared. I read many things about throtling and ram in Dual Channel needed, well this laptop had only 1 ram slot and temps in load are 60-62c for both cpu/igpu. I tired to force instal newer amd driver instead lastest lenovo official one (17.7), but same situation. So idk what to do. If it's a bad optimization and igpu performance are 1/3 of real power, is worth to keep it?
I ask becouse i've an alternative, i can trade it for another €600 notebook with i7 8550u, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD, mx130 2gb, display full HD TN. What do you guys suggest to do? Thanks in advance...!

The porblem with the ryzen actually is that it has to split the power it recieves between the igpu and cpu. This is why the clockspeed is so jumpy and the main reason I did not get a yoga 530 with the 2700u but one with a I5 8250u and mx130 combo (the difference between the I7 8550u and 8250u is quite small due to both being limited by how much power they are allowed to draw).

I do recommend you get a laptop with an ips screen as a tn panel is going to seriously limit the angles you can view the device from and not have warped colours.
