s series thinkpads, decent build quality?

hey folks I'm looking at buying a thinkpad s440. I have heard that the t series thinkpads are excellent quality but other series such as the L and edge can be sub-par. I have not however heard anything about the s series, does anybody have any experience with them. should I avoid them and just buy a t series?

Thinkpads and other Lenovo Ultrabooks are know for being very sturdy. I used one a while back and I was impressed.
