Hey everyone. I've narrowed laptop choices down to two as listed in the title.

My budget is about $1300-1400.

If I NP6350, I'll have more $$$ for upgrades, but it would probably end up being the same price as the NP9150 without upgrades. It's also about 1lb lighter.

If I get the NP9150 I won't have as much $$$ room for upgrades, but its lowest choices are already generally better than those of the NP6350.

My main uses for the laptop will be gaming. (Tomb Raider, Battlefield 3, etc.)
Secondary uses are schooling and traveling for sports, which is why I need the portability of a laptop.

Which laptop do should I get, and what customizations should I make to it?

Personally, I'd go with the 9150...you can always upgrade later, especially given that many of the chips will have new versions coming out in the next couple months.

I've seen a lot of complaints on the Y500 that its performance depletes when it's off the charger. I'll consider it though, thanks. :)
