I am looking to buy a new laptop to replace my very old and busted desktop. I plan to use it primarily for moderate gaming web browsing. I want a sturdy laptop that won't break the bank, and was hoping to get some opinions on whether it is worth the extra money for a ~30% increase in graphics performance. I know there isn't a right or wrong answer, just want some opinions from an outside source. Both have no negative reviews as far as I have found.

The machines would be identical in every aspect save for...

NP7330: $939

13.3" FHD Matte Display
Intel® i5-4200M CPU
NVIDIA® GTX 765M [2GB] GPU

NP8265: $1230

15.6" FHD Matte Display
Intel® i7-4700MQ CPU
NVIDIA® GTX 770M [3GB] GPU

The main upgrade I was looking for was the graphics card, the processor upgrade is just a necessary byproduct of the better GPU. I don't think upgrading to an i7 does much in the way of increasing performance without the better video card as well. I agree with staying away from a dual core if at all possible though, so I am leaning toward the 8265.

I have a Cyberpower HX7-100 with the i7 4700MQ and GTX 770M. That is an unbeatable combination for the money. I'm not sure an i7 4800MQ and GTX780 would be worth the additional $300-$400 cost. Mine handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat AND stays cool at the same time.
