(same) Minecraft lag randomly

Hello All, Last post "Gaminglag, minecraft" had to be redone so here it is

Im still having problems when i boot up the laptop "windows 8" then play minecraft its fine for an hour after that it will randomly drop frames "fps" for about 2 mins what i can't play with and its always below 40 when i want it about that!

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
CPU: AMD Turion x2 RM-75 2 cores
Motherboard: Acer JV50PU Brand: Phoenix Technologies LTD Version: V1.08
Ram: DDR2 2048MBytes "2GB" Dram Frequency: 400.0MHz
SPD: "RAM" DDR2 2048Mbytes "2GB" PC2-6400 Brand: Kingston

Minecraft can be a CPU taxing game. Looking at your system, it wouldn't surprise me if your computer was overheating due to age and because it's a laptop.

It does get hot by the cpu fan area, so might need cleaning?

Just check it is 60+Celsius just with firefox skype and hamachi open, with minecraft its 70+ celsius! this can't be good

Yeah, that could be your issue. When your processor gets too hot, your motherboard will usually throttle it to cool down. Sounds like you need to clean it out with an air duster and possible need to get a chill mat.

Thanks mate, still doesnt solve my problem with randomly lag every 5 mins "will get a mat"
