my display ports on my Samsung 370r don't work

Did they at one time? Anything happen before they stopped working? You have the correct video drivers installed for the laptop?

The drivers should work they did. I just haven't used the laptop in ages since its original screen got shattered

Aha, more info now, so the internal screen is bad? Need some info here, start at the beginning. Very likely you need to boot to safe mode and install the drivers on the system, without proper drivers the external display will not work. If a Windows update or something else changed drivers it can cause issues.
