Samsung black and white vertical lines

Hello, I have a Samsung HLT4675SX and it has black and white vertical lines. When i hit the menu button nothing comes up expect the black and white lines. I replaced the lamp and dmd chip but still has this issue. Help!

Looks like a DLP HDTV. Sounds like you are due for an upgrade. You can post a pic of the lines so we can confirm.

Yes, I am due for an upgrade but my father seems to like the DLP rather then the new led televisions. So I'm trying to fix this television for him.

I looked at the image. This could possibly be due to interference from the cables crossing over the power cables.

I would try a different cable to connect the TV from the video source, and make sure the other wires are not running parallel.

If that does not work, then you can either get a new TV or fix this one if your dad is attached to it.
