Hey, I've been using Andoird version 2.3.4 for quite a long time now. I've watched and red a lot of tutorials on how to update the firmware of the phone. I did all that root/rom crap and I can't find the proper firmware for the model of my phone. All I found is for the gt-s5830. Every time I use the firmware for s5830 only and not s5830D I get a error status 7. Can anyone give me a link please? I've searched around the internet a lot.

Solution
download the clockwork mod recovery
download and place kitkat file in internal storage
turn off mobile and got to recovery by pressing the combo buttons
select install......from sd card> choose clockwork recovery mode file

You will get a new recovery (cwm)
in the new recovery go to wipe data and cache and hit yes
then go to install....from sd card (in cwm)> and select kitkat file
again press wipe data and cache

it will take time to precess after its completed press reboot

after flashing stock rom, your device becomes unrooted

you have to root it again

this time use root files of S5380

Is this the good file for the new os? http://d-h.st/N2j
I don't want to make a mistake again and choose the wrong one.

I don't mind about the camera. But how do I do these steps.
Do a Nandroid backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon

I don't get how I could install ROM using clockworkdmod recovery if I wiped out everything.

Nope... I used stock ROM on the phone, after I installed root, I installed the cwm you gave me, I successfully managed to go into cwm recovery while holding 2 buttons, then I did a nandroid back up, I wiped the data/factory reset and cache partition, I went to install zip from sdcard >choose zip from sdcard>cm-11-20131225.... and I get that:

-- Installing: /sdcard/cm-11-20131225-EXPERIMENTAL-cooper.zip
Finding update package...
Opening updated package...
Installing update...
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-11-20131225-EXPERIMENTAL-cooper.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Do you know why?
