Samsung galaxy on5 set default storage

I don't have the three dots for storage. The only options are unmount and format. Do I have to root the phone to set my sd card as default storage?

Can't say if rooting would allow for it or not. Doesn't work on all devices and it can brick your device to do so. Better to ask in the "Rooting, Jailbreaking & Unlocking" Forum http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/forum-117.html. They would have more info.
