Well, I recently got an refurbished S4 from an e-bay seller, and it's got a slight sort of 'imprint' of an image on it. It's pretty faded, and only there when the screen is on. It's not an app or anything, stays wherever it goes. It's right below the top bar thing (new to android - don't know it's proper name, sorry.) Somewhat noticeable. Anyone know if this is a software, or hardware issue?
I tried taking a picture, didn't really show up well, so not really an option. It's pretty faint- but noticeable on a variety of screens.

Hi,

this sounds like screen burn-in to me.

Samsung's Galaxy S4 uses Samsung's own AMOLED display. AMOLED displays are susceptible to screen burn in if a static image is left on the display for too long. This is almost never a problem for mobile devices as static images aren't left on for too long, but a careless user may disable the automatic screen shutoff / lock.

That's what I was thinking, but was hoping that wasn't it. Well, good thing I've got a 30 day replacement deal. Oh well.
