I'm considering getting a new phone on a plan (I've been on pre-paid for years now) and these phones both look fantastic.
They both have the same plan, $50 a month ($500 Included value, Free Unlimited National TXT, 1GB of data, standard phone call 98c per minute)
I like both phones but there are some things I prefer for each.
Galaxy S4:
- Much, much more flexibility and customization
- Faster (1.9GHz Quad Core & 2GB RAM vs 1.3GHz Dual Core & 1GB RAM. SGSII anyone? 2010 tech right there!)
- Better screen resolution and quality (1080p video and capture, 13.0 megapixel rear-facing camera, 5" screen)
- Neat features (Air Gesture/Wave, Group Play, TV Control)
- Micro SD slot (64GB of storage!)
iPhone 5:
- Easy to use UI
- More Secure
- Better App selection
- Better exterior material (Metal over plastic)
- Apple's lovely calling and texting layouts
I'm really torn. I'm slightly leaning toward Samsung since they have some great features I'd see myself using on a regular basis. But Apple is still awesome and I'd be extremely happy with either
