Solved! Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 wont Factory Reset

My son recently gave me my old Galaxy Tab to reset for him. I tried to reset using the Privacy --> Factory Reset but it keeps on asking for my Samsung password. I know the password is correct but it does not accept it.

I also attempted to hold Volume and then Power together (while powered off) but nothing happens.

Ideally I want to install Android from USB. Any suggestions?

Try resetting the Samsung password from another device and then use the new password.
