Samsung Galaxy y battery problem

i have a samsung galaxy y some days ago it was working properly.then one night i charged my phone . when it was fully charged i took of the charger.when i wake on morning the battery was ended and phone was off. please help me.

does the phone try to charge now?? sometime phones screw up an removing and cleaning the battery contacts work. if not and the phone new or under warranty have your local phone store replace the battery.
