In Nov. 2018, I purchased a Samsung J7 Sky Pro (2017 I believe) from Tracfone. It has been working fine until a couple of days ago.
The unit cannot send or receive messages nor can it call out or receive phone calls. When attempting to make a call, the phone immediately hangs up. It will, however, send and receive e-mails.

Not in airplane mode
This is what I've tried:
Soft reset - no change
Hard reset - no change
Safe mode - no change
Removed battery and reinstalled - no change
Wiped cache in recovery mode - no change
Swapped SIM with identical phone (also purchased at the same time) - error message: "Mobile network not available" on both phones
SIM card contacts and slot appear undamaged
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
