Hi, I own a samsung np550p5c-s04in with integrated (Intel) and dedicated graphic card (NVIDIA 650M), was wondering if it will be possible to upgrade my dedicated graphic card.
Hi, thanx for the reply. The thing is am not very savvy with laptops internal components so idk how to open it. so I was hoping if some1 who has done it can maybe let me know if it is possible or not , but I will try and find it on internet if the laptop has mxm slot with the card mounted or not.
It's useless for you to know if you can do it if you don't know how to do it and can't open the system up now to check. If you find out that you can, you still will need to buy the card and replace it, which means you need to open the laptop then anyway.
Open it and see if the video card is seated in an MXM slot. It looks a bit like a large laptop RAM slot. If it's not, you can't upgrade. If it is, you at least may be able to, but need to check with the vendor if it will run or try it and hope.
