[citation][nom]zblade[/nom]@EricburnbyYou make a very valid point but you are no different than anyone else here. You talk as if you do understand what is going on. But majority of the people here are saying that Apple is playing dirty. Apple knows the law but I don't think they are gambling. If I was the world biggest and most profitable company and I had money to wipe my ass with. I would do exactly what Apple is doing now. So what if they need to pay off Samsung if they lose, a few million dollars lose while every single shop are saying "We got no Galaxy Tabs but we got plenty of iPads" is a huge PR boost to Apple. It is not just about selling iPads, it is also all of the micro-transaction that goes with it and who knows, in the end, Apple could get all of that money they paid off to Samsung back as well as saying "There are more iPads than Galaxy Tabs in Germany".This is just another way of seeing things. But no one truely knows Apples real intentions unless you are the CEO of Apple. But "in my opinion" Apple is playing dirty, HTC said this already but Apple should shut up and compete like everyone else.[/citation]
Yes, I agree. When one wants a tablet, one won't wait until a Galaxy is available. He'd buy and iPad.
It is two wars : between iPad vs Galaxy and between iOS vs Android. Here is the calculation.
If Apple wins, iPad will be sold to EU. Apps, Movies and Musics will be sold through iOS to EU.
If Apple loses, iPad will be sold to EU. Apple pay compensation to Samsung (for not selling hardware). Apps, Movies and Musics will be sold through iOS to EU.
In either case (both cases), Google (Android) loses. No Apps, Movies and Musics will be sold through Android to EU.
ok ?
