Samsung Smart TV Power Issue

So I came home today and found that my Samsung UN55H7150AF when it powers on, I get the Smart TV splash screen, The back light is lit, but the system never seems to start and it is not responding to any remote control commands. It wont even power off (even though it responds to powering on via remote).

thinking maybe the firmware tried to update and it went bad but I dont know how to update it without a picture to guide me in the menu.

Try with the power cord off the wall for 1 hr.
