Samsung Smart TV Wireless Streaming

Im trying to use the Samsung smartview program on my PC to connect to my Samsung TV the problem is that my computer is wired directly to the wireless modem and the TV is connected wirelessly. Before I can connect to the TV it says connect the PC and TV to the same wireless network. My PC is connected to the wireless router but through an ethernet cable.. I don't understand why it won't pick up that they are both on the same network even though one is wireless and the other is wired.

I wager you have: ISP modem ------(subnet 1)-----> WIFI router ------(subnet 2)------>

And you have your PC on subnet 1 while your TV is on subnet 2.

To fix this, configure AP as Access Point as per THIS.
