samsung smart tv you tube app volume problem

when I use the samsung smart tv youtube app the volume level remains the same as on the normal tv, I am unable to change the volume levels on youtube or mute them

This looks to be a wide-spread issue with that program, you will likely have to wait for a fix either a firmware update to the TV or a new app download.
