Samsung TV Glitch or Bug

I am trying to do work on my laptop using a Samsung TV (Model Number: LN22C500) so I could have more space to see. Well, when I connect my laptop to the TV with VGA cable and switch to the PC device, in the center, it's brighter and towards the top of the screen, I can see the pixels acting up. I changed the display settings to see if it helped and nothing. Please help me, it is bugging me a lot. This only happens on the PC source.

I don't have an extra VGA or HDMI cable anywhere in the house, and I am only a kid so I cant go out a buy one.

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite C55-B running Windows 8.1
TV: Samsung TV (Model Number: LN22C500) (Software Version: T-MSX5AUSC-2006)

have you tried changing your laptop resolution to your tv native resolution?

It is set to set the resolution to the correct one automatically and I made sure that it was at its resolution.
