SATELLITE U205-S5021 upgrade

I have an old laptop SATELLITE U205-S5021 I want to replace the HDD & the OS on it but but had problems due to biometric security(fingerprint) which is built into it. Anyone know how to disable it so I can upgrade my old laptop.

Question, if it is your laptop, why wouldn't it recognize your fingerprint? Just curious.
