That's a very very very well known shameless MYTH. Human brain has tens of billions of neurons. Modern CPU-s have passed the 1 billion transistor mark, and while neurons are certainly more complex, they still cannot compare to supercomputers made of thousands of CPUs.

Asimov's rules are impossible to implement as they are too broad and open to interpretation. Computers need strict parameters, so just saying "Don't kill humans" won't work as the robot could just cause an accident, indirectly killing. Just an example.

Anyway, we're a few years away from AI taking over. Let's relax for now.

If you're talking about simply mathematical problems, computers are way ahead than the average human. What we're talking about is that humans have the natural ability to understand and cultivate our surroundings and create and learn and love. Those are some of the human aspects that robots imo will never acquire.

Well there are two trains of thought here. AI or TRUE AI???
Yes a computer can learn and can do many things, it also seems very powerful in its workings but in reality is very simple.
Around 10 years ago there was a competition with the BEST in these fields trying to race to produce true AI. even with the technology they had they failed miserably. Why? because a computer has no feeling it has no psyche like humans and all animals do. You can program a computer to respond to inputs but you cant give those inputs feeling etc. Emotions is something a computer will never have no matter how powerful it may be. It may be able to be programmed to have some but these things are a lot different to how humans work.
The Neural network is a VERY complex thing indeed. Even now we are SO far away from being able to replicate the human mind it is astounding.
If you are wondering why we are so far away, and why things are so complex try googling "solving the travelings salesman issue" do some reading and you may understand why.
It IS a very interesting subject that i did study for several years. Got far to deep for my liking when i was up all night reading white paper after white paper.
There are a LOT of truths in films like AI, The Matrix & The Terminator etc etc. The big worry with a lot of these things is that you need to be able to control these things. You can only control what you understand and if something gets out of hand and runs away with itself then we are ALL screwed!!!!!
There maybe robots that can kill on there own, but they are around NOW, they are pre programed to undertake a task.
To have a robot that can think for itself and decide to kill something of its own accord is something else.
