screen frozen help

hi so my tablet crack just a little on one slide and on the other slide it didn't so i was trying to put my password in but the bottom part won't work it frozen it only working on the top

That doesn't make sense. The whole screen would be frozen or the crack would be causing it to not work in a certain area.

Meaning it isn't a frozen screen but the damaged display that is causing the problem.

If that is the case, the only way to resolve it would be to replace the display screen.
