Screen pops black but can see images

Hello,
i started having this prob for 3 days .The screen pops black but images can be seen slightly. After about 15 mins everything is okay . If i shut it down the problem starts again. why

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums,
Those symptoms are usually caused by a faulty screen power inverter, in time it will go out completely - in some units it's an easy fix, in others screen replacement would be needed. You can google what it takes to replace yours, there may even be youtube vids for that.
