My SD card was working fine, I transferred some pictures I took from my phone to the SD card it said it couldn't transfer them all because there wasn't enough space. Then all of a sudden I could no longer see my SD card. It says no SD card. I've turned my phone off, took the card out, pretty much have done everything. Anyone know how to get it to recognize the card?

Well it depends. It could be hardware in the phone and it could be the card.

Try the card in another device. If it works in the other device, and shows the files on it, then the problem lies in the phone. If, however the other device can't access the SD card either, then there is something wrong with the card, and what is on it may well be lost.

I tried putting the SD card in my kindle and it acknowledged it but said that it wasn't compatible

If it is saying it isn't compatible then I would think there is something wrong with the SD card. Sadly, once they go bad, there isn't much you can do about it. I would try getting a new card.

If they were just regular everyday pictures I would just get a new card but these are my preemie baby's newborn photos

Have you tried leaving the card in the phone, then connect the phone to a computer via USB cord and see if the files can be viewed by the computer that way?

That's the first thing I tried and it doesn't show up

Did you, perchance, have the SD card set as "Internal" storage on the phone (so it could hold apps) or was it left as the normal "External" storage?

It was left as external storage

You got me on this one then. I have tried all the things I can think of.

Anyone else have any suggestions?
