Sd card photos

Solution
You would need to go into the app you are using to take the photos, and set it to save to the SD Card. However, that said, not all apps (like sometimes the camera one) don't allow you to do that. You may have to acquire an app that does.

Another way to do it is to take the photos as you normally do, then hook the phone up to a computer (via USB) move them over to a folder on the computer, and then copy back to the phones SD card. It seems like a longer way to doing that, however there are advantages to doing it this way.

First, you get to save a copy of the photos to the computer, giving you a backup if the phone gets damaged, lost, stolen, etc. Second, you can arrange the photos how you want. Placing them in folders and giving the names you wish. Making them easier to sort through on both the phone (via the card) and the computer.

I would also suggest that you always make back up copies of photos, music, videos, contact lists, etc., to a computer or cloud account. To often people are here posting asking how to retrieve things that have been deleted, when a phone dies or is stolen. Yet this is a problem that can be easily avoided, with a little forethought and effort. :)
