Searching for a Good Budget TV

Planning on getting a new TV. cause right now I have my parent's old Panasonic Plasma Screen 40". Every time I plug in my PS4 randomly at times the TV would flicker black screen for a couple of seconds while still hearing all the audio and then come back. I tried changing the settings on the PS4 and tried a different HDMI cable still does not resolve the issue, so I came to the conclusion that it is not the connection handle but rather the TV itself is old/outdated that cannot handle the PS4 Connection. Since black friday is coming, I saw a tv that is considerably cheap for a 4K but not sure if that this is a good brand cause I have a mentality that only Sony and Samsung are the TV brands to get..

TV I am looking at is:

Sharp 55" 4K UHD HDR LED Roku Smart TV (LC-55LBU591C)

Only using the TV in my bedroom for the PS4 and Netflix

While this is not your exact model, it seems to have an average picture with good gaming response.
These were better alternatives.

LG UH6100 - cheaper with worse picture.
Hisense H8C - cheaper with better picture.
Vizio D Series 4k 2016 - excellent picture and gaming response.

The Sharp TV brand is owned by Hisense (a chinese TV maker) so I wouldn't say it has any great brand credibility.
If you are only using a PS4 you may not need a "smart" TV. I don't think you will find a really cheap Sony but nothing wrong with a Samsung or LG.
