Do I need an amp or soundcard for the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO Gaming Headset (50 ohm)?

I have them (50ohm too) and i needed and amplifier to get the real power of them. My motherboard is worse than yours so you maybe dont need and amp. But if you buy you wont regret, they sound amz with an amp.

Well, not only the volumen, but Also the sound quality will improve a lot. You can test the headphones before buying any amp and if you feel you need one i recommend you to buy Creative soundblaster Z
