I hope this is the right place for this. I just built up a computer and am running windows 7. My computer is connected via hdmi cable to my tv, and then I have a sound output cable running from my tv to my receiver. (My receiver does not have an hdmi input/output). I want all game audio to be sent to the receiver, but I want the in-game chat audio to be sent to my headphones, connected via 3.5mm cable. Is there a way to separate the chat and game audio and ouput them to the two different speaker devices? The game in question is Left 4 Dead 2, if that makes a difference. I did not see this in the game options... Thank you.
