Usually when you connect to the headphone jack it will turn off the other speakers.
You can connect the Low Pass out on the back of the receiver to the line input of the RCA. You only need to connect it to one of the pair on the RCA. The others speakers of the RCA system don't need to be connected to the RCA.

RT161 is designed to be used stand alone not with that receiver but you can connect it the speakers via the head phone output. you will 1/4 to 1/8 cable.
