1) Dell Inspiron 14 5447

8 GB RAM,1 TB HDD,8 GB SSD,2 GB GRAPHICS CARD,14 INCH(1366X786)

2) Dell Inspiron 15 5547
--------------------------------
8 GB RAM,1 TB HDD,2 GB GRAPHICS CARD,15.6 INCH(1366X786)

Which one should I choose,My primary usage is android app development.
My friend says 14 inch is optimal and portable for programmer but so far I have only worked with 15.6 inch ?
Does that 8GB ssd card comes with 14 inch laptop increase performance significantly ?

Solution
That 8GB SSD is almost certainly not a drive on its own. It is meant to be a cache drive for the 1TB. They are seen as a single drive letter.
Get the 14" laptop. It will be easy to carry around and the 8 GB SSD will help you out when you install the program/application you use for android development as SSDs have very high read write speeds than HDDs. So, you're program will open and load faster.

But is that screen size enough for programmer ? (because I only worked with 15.6 inch so I don't know about 14 inch)

Go to a store that sells laptops and test out a 14" laptop. 15.6" laptops generally have a numeric pad, but 14" laptops do not. If you do not use the numeric pad, then it should not be a big deal if the laptop does not have one. The track pad on a 14" laptop will be centered in the middle of the laptop. On a 15.6" laptop with a numeric pad, the track pad will be closer to the left side of the mouse.
